After concluding the Peaks of the Andes rally in South America (https://via-flaminia.com/oldtimer-car-rally/2024-peaks-of-the-andes/), we can confidently say that historic vehicles are highly appreciated on this continent. Everywhere we went, we were greeted with enthusiastic waves. Even our support car, with its rally shield in place, received a warm welcome.

Car collecting also a passion there. Two of the most remarkable collections we visited were at Viñas Santa Cruz in Chile and Hotel Viñas Queirolo in Peru. From the former, we’re only showing you photos from the wine-producing section of their museum. Who says wine and cars don’t go together?
