This Anderson was a typical high-wheeler with 2-cylinder air-cooled engine, solid tyres and transverse front suspension.
This car, built by a former carriage works, was the most successful of all makes built in the southern United States. Utilizing 6-cylinder Continental motors of various sorts, production reached nearly 2000 Anderson car units in 1923. Andersons appeared in a large variety of body styles and in unusual colour combinations and were particularly highly regarded in the southern states, although the Anderson car was sold throughout the country.
