The Holsman car was a high-wheeler which was sold in considerable numbers in the Mid-West, and also in India and Australia. Engines of the Holsman car were 10 and 12hp 2-cylinder, and 26hp 4-cylinder, both opposed air-cooled units. Rope drive was used up to 1905, steel cable from 1905 to 1909, and chains thereafter on Holsman cars.
