After a long break, on 18 June there was finally another big event to look back on with joy: The celebration of 100 years of Amilcar (1921 - 2021).
The rally was organised in Vichy, a spa and wellness town in the middle of France. The area we drove through was beautiful, with many hills and many kilometres of farmland. It was a real pleasure to finally be back on the road again with other PreWarCars. With the beautiful weather we had, I think everyone really enjoyed the weekend. However, it was difficult to take good photos of the line-up of prewars as the participants spread out their cars at each stop to make use of every square centimetre of shade they could find.
The list of participating cars was very impressive. There must have been (I did not count them) 60 - 70 Amilcars present. The rest of the line-up was filled with mainly cyclecars and sports cars like Bugatti, BNC, Rally, Salmson etc. More than a handful of impressive C6s were present (don't we all love the sound of these machines?) and even an Amilcar 8!
I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

It would have been nice to take part with my Vale Special.

Complimenti a chi ha organizzato l'evento, ma i complimenti vanno anche ai coraggiosi partecipanti.
Sarebbe stato bello partecipare con la mia Vale Special.
