Classic Days Schloss Dyck 2019 - in pictures

Last weekend the renowned Classic Days Schloss Dyck took place. The PreWarCar.com and PostWarClassic.com team had at a stand at this great event. We hope you all have seen and enjoyed the live updates we gave on the event of the websites and our Facebook and Instagram pages.

We had a wonderful time. Also being part of the very professional jury of the ‘Masterpieces Concours, a competition of elegance in the park’ was a real honour. Probably the most important trophy - The Best of Show - was awarded to a 4.5-Litre 1928 Bentley with Vanden Plas coachwork. The car has an impressive history, as it raced at Brooklands and drove at Le Mans being part of the new Speed Sixes team driven by Lord Howe and Bernard Rubin. Besides this, YV7263 raced at Montlhery, where it broke the single-handed 24-hour record at an average speed of 89.73 mph. Besides the fact that YV7263 is a true racer, it still is in a very original condition. From our point of view a well-deserved winner!

Then there were also the PostWarClassics. Amongst them a beautiful 1966 FIAT 2300 S Coupe Michelotti  - one of the award winners. The price for the most original car was awarded to a 1963 Ferrari 330 America.

Today we would like to show you - in pictures - all the beauty of Classic Days 2019. The pictures are taken by our young PWC reporters Yentel van Hemert, Nilo Smit and Milton Laarman, who later this week will tell you about their experience at last weekend's event!

Enjoy!
