Unique Belgian collection now available on Highest Bid via PreWarCar.com

We regularly come across large parts collections—sometimes neatly organised, other times scattered across attics, garages, and barns. But what we recently discovered at a farm in southern Belgium truly exceeded all our expectations.

Inside an old barn, we stumbled upon an extraordinary collection: over 1,000 carburettors, more than 100 engines, and countless other rare parts. The good news? A portion of this unique find will soon be offered for sale on the Highest Bid platform of PreWarCar.com.

Over the past few days, the PreWarCar.com team has been hard at work helping to sort and select the items that will be made available. And what a treasure hunt it has been!

Upon arriving at the farm, we were welcomed by the owner at a beautifully restored property. In the first garage, three Jaguar E-types were gleaming—a stunning sight, but not what we came for. We continued on to the next barn, where beneath thick layers of dust and classic car covers, a dozen vintage vehicles lay hidden. The atmosphere was magical: complete cars, shelves full of parts, and surprises around every corner.

One particular shell caught our eye—a BMW 315 that had been used for storage for the past 30 years. The owner pointed out a rolling chassis buried under a pile of parts nearby. After a full day of clearing and sorting, we were able to move the body outside, and more parts kept emerging—it appears to be almost a complete car.

We also uncovered both the front and rear axles of a BMW 326, and eventually managed to retrieve the chassis itself. To our surprise, it was in remarkably good condition: it rolls smoothly, the engine turns freely, and the tires even hold air.

The collection contains many pre-war BMW parts, but also a wide variety of universal vintage items. Altogether, it’s a dream for collectors and restorers alike. And now, a selection of these remarkable finds is available through the Highest Bid platform.
