Four laid back men in a Mystery Car

Andy Jackson sent in this photograph of four laid back men in a PreWarCar. He wondered whether our reader (so you guys) could help with the identification of the car in the picture. Likely the car was used in the 1930s and probably kept in Halifax, Yorkshire.

Are there ladies and/or gentlemen who can answer Andy's question and tell us more about the PreWarCar we see here? Please comment below.

I see this is a right hand drive model and is most likely a Canadian built car. Hupmobiles were produced in Windsor, Ontario from 1911 to 1936 and the RHD models were exported to British Commonwealth countries around the world.

American 1917-1925 Hupmobile Model R. In fact with almost 180.000 made the most produced Hupp of all times.

Hupmobile Series R, 1920 - 1923. It seems to me that the headlamp style and the sloping bonnet louvers were concurrent in those years.
