Join PreWarCar.com at the start of the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run!

Press-release

The world's longest-running motoring event returns on Sunday, 6th November 2022. Over 300 cars built before 1905 will be taking part in the annual London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, and as always, we expect it to be a fantastic spectacle of early motoring. Panhard, Peugeot, Benz and Mors are just a few of the celebrated names which will be taking part, but the highlight must surely be the commemoration of Napier's victory in the 1902 Gordon Bennett Cup, with S. F Edge's 1902 Napier racer joined by the two surviving Gordon Bennett Napiers from 1903.

The PreWarCar.com team will be participating in an 1899 Amédée Bollée and a 1904 Renault. However, if you cannot take part or come to see the cars at the Hyde Park start, Madeira Drive finish or one of the many vantage points en route, we invite you to join us at the start virtually by visiting our website on the morning of 6th November. Our film crew will defy the early-morning cold and set themselves up at Hyde Park Corner to capture the start of this truly wonderful event.

Due to technical limitations, we will not be livestreaming the start, but we will have the film online as soon as possible and keep you up-to-date with our newsletter, so subscribe to the newsletter today and keep a close eye on our website as we count down to Sunday.
