Le Corbusier and a Friday Lady

The picture with this week’s Friday Lady is taken at the Weißenhofsiedlung (Weissenhof Estate) - click on the picture to enlarge. Houses 14 and 15 were the architectural work of Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret. The completion of the Estate would mark the start of the Die Wohnung Exhibition of 1927. You can read more here about what is now the World Heritage Site. But who is our Friday Lady standing with one foot on the running board? We have no idea. But we do have an idea what the PreWarCar might be. Is the car a Mercedes Benz 8/38 Typ Stuttgart 200 Roadster?

Le Corbusier's real name was Charles-Edouard Jeanneret. Pierre was his cousin.
