Live from the 2024 London to Brighton Veteran Car Run

Another year, another Brighton, another early start... It was still pitch-black this morning when we cranked the 1902 Darracq 9hp, our steed for the 2024 London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, into life. We've motored into Hyde Park to see the dawn light break over the Serpentine, and with the ceremonial tearing of the red flag, watched the early starters depart. Before long, it was our turn to set off, and as you read this we should happily motoring to the coast. Once again, we've got a camera on board and we will try to livestream the entire ride, so if you can't be on the Brighton road yourself, why not hop on board with us?

Wondering which cars are which? Find the full list of participants here.

Thank you for live streaming. We couldn’t enter this years run and, although we went to see the start, following your progress during the day was good fun!

A good dry day for you today. I came up yesterday for the car show on Pall Mall, on a rare Saturday off. It was a great show with a great range of cars.

Absolutely loved the first leg of the 2024 London to Brighton up to the pit stop. Then what happened? It was so good last year with the 1902 Columbia electric. Surely somebody can do a good live coverage of the event for those of us who will never be able to get there in person.

Get rid of the starter motor and put the car back to original. It's better for history and much more fun.
