How to maintain a Renault CB?

Daryll Gray contacted us regarding his recently acquired 1912 Renault CB. As you can understand he is eager to get in touch with other Renault CB owners to get detailed information about this fine Billancourt product. He found several CB's on the net, like the ex-Gordon G. Aselton 1912 Renault Type CB Coupe de Ville by Kellner of Paris (Bonhams 2009) and a second 1912 CB by Kellner sold by RM, but so far no owners are located. Daryll writes: "I am missing some parts and I am keen to communicate with anyone who has mechanical knowledge of this model and also owners who would be able to provide me with pictures of various components and bodywork styles. I am also keen to find out more about Rudge-Whitworth wheels and hubs if there is anyone who can give me some advice. I would love to hear from anyone who would be able to help." As suggestions we like to point ou the existence of the UK based club "Renault Freres"  or to contact the Musée Renault- near Paris-Billancourt.

Please contact me with the CB. I am restoring a 1913 BC and just started on a 1915 EK torpedo. We might help both ways. I need mesaurements of some parts and I am making a lot of parts.

I have a Renault around 1920. The dash label reads: Chassis type KJ1, Course 58 90, Chassis # 113367.
It is a torpedo style two seater with a mother in law single seat under the rear deck. The car i really small.
I am starting the restoration and would like other photos, the exact year, and any info you could share. It is missing most of the brass trim which i would like to replace.

Renault Freres club is a great resource! Also, the _Chronologiques Renault_ books have patent drawings and information. Tome 2 would have CB information (1st year), and Tome 3 has 1911-1918 information. If in United States, you can contact me.
