Letters to the Editor
Dear PreWarCar,
I have this engine of unknown manufacture. I got it from an old workshop. They filed down the letters from the crankshaft casing, so only the letter "R" remains. The number 160 seems to be the original one, the others were probably made later in the engine's life. The valves are huge, so it's probably from some sports motorcycle. The fitting of the cylinder is similar to a 1920s AJS, but it has nothing to do with AJS. Please help me to identify this.
Best Regards,
Pál Matastik
