With the first cars and the meeting of their owners was founded on january 1899 the Club Automobilisti Veneti that promoted the organization of an important car race totally in Veneto. Borned so the PROVA RESISTENZA  Veicoli Automobili Province Venete organized on 19th of june 1899 and integrated in the big programme of the Fiera del Santo in Padua. Choosing the better road of the time was created a ring track of 172 km  with start and arrival in Padua through Vicenza and Treviso. Twentytwo cars at the start and only fifteen at the arrival. The winner was Ettore Bugatti with his tricycle Prinetti Stucchi at more than 44 km/h- The big  race was organized for other two years with a track everytime longer  since the 300 km of the 1901 edition.

Since 2019 the Circolo Veneto Automoto d'Epoca want to celebrate this first important race of Veneto with an event exclusively reserved to ancetres vehicles (cars, tricycle and motorcycle) pre 1905 production.

Start and arrival in Bassano del Grappa , CVAE base and city where passed the original track, for a trip of about 80 km , along peaceble and flat country roads passing through Castelfranco Veneto and Cittadella to remember the original three province of Veneto.

Along the track pleasable stop, for cars and people, at prestigious venetian villas and important historic palace and monuments, as the medieval walls of the town.  Assistence vehicles  from Organization during all the event.
