A jewel of French automotive history with Club Delahaye at Rétromobile 2025

Press release

The Club Delahaye is honored to present, at Rétromobile 2025, an exceptional vehicle: the Delahaye 135MS roadster, chassis 60233. This unique automobile, commissioned in 1939 by the Société des Automobiles Delahaye and bodied by Henri Chapron, embodies the elegance and craftsmanship of pre-war French automotive design. Originally intended for the Paris Motor Show, its destiny was disrupted by the outbreak of war. Shipped to the United States for the 1940 New York World’s Fair, the car remained overseas for decades before returning to France.

Painstakingly restored in the 1990s and preserved by passionate collectors, the car did not return to France until 2005. This extraordinary piece will be showcased at the Club Delahaye stand throughout Rétromobile, from February 5th to 9th, 2025, at the Expo Porte de Versailles, Paris. As a member of the Association des Clubs de Marque, the Club Delahaye will be located in the grand A.C.M. area in Hall 3, stand 3B048—a must-visit spot for enthusiasts of prestigious automobiles.
