Unique, solid silver Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Model offered on PreWarCar.com’s Highest Bid Platform

Press release

A remarkable collector’s item is about to be offered for bidding on PreWarCar.com: a solid silver scale model of the legendary Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost. This one-of-a-kind masterpiece, crafted with exceptional attention to detail, was for decades the pride of renowned British jeweller Harry Collins, MVO, of G. Collins & Sons, Tunbridge Wells.

Since the 1990s, Collins displayed the Silver Ghost model on his desk. When the family business was passed on and modernised, the model was carefully stored away. Now, for the very first time, this extraordinary piece is being offered to the public.

The model is based on AX201, the famous 1907 Rolls-Royce 40/50 hp Roi-des-Belges tourer by Barker – the car that earned the name “Silver Ghost” and established Rolls-Royce’s reputation as “the best car in the world”.

Highlights of this unique creation include:

  • Opening bonnet, running boards, and doors
  • Tyres with authentic brand markings
  • Entirely crafted in solid silver

To the best of current knowledge, no other model of this calibre exists.

  • Dimensions: 45 × 20 × 20 cm (length × height × width). Weight (incl. plinth): 7 kg.

The piece will be offered through PreWarCar.com’s highest bid platform, where collectors can submit offers during a fixed two-week period. Bidding opens on 12th October 2025 and closes on 26th October 2025. If the reserve is met, the item will be sold to the highest bidder. The estimated value is €30,000–€35,000.

Worldwide delivery can be arranged following the sale, including to the United States. Whether displayed on a desk or alongside a full-sized Silver Ghost, this model represents a rare opportunity for collectors and Rolls-Royce enthusiasts to acquire a unique piece of automotive and jewellery history.
