Dear Sir, Madam,
I bougth in an french old barn 3 years ago an air-cooled flat-twin four-stroke engine which appears to come from a pre war cyclecar. I cannot find any numbers or brand on it and I would really like to know where this engine come from.
I started the disassembly of the engine and the only clue I found is some hallmark on gearbox shaft. It is wrote M&B; which means, "Malicet & Blin", a famous parts manufacturer in the 20's.
I found cars to be produced prewar with air-cooled flat-twin but it does not match (jowett, tatra, gregoire,...). I would really appreciate if you could help me to find where this engine come from.
Kind regards
Georges
