The global magazine and marketplace for classic car enthusiasts, by enthusiasts.
Last week, we talked about the social distancing and we appealed to all classic car enthusiasts to seclude yourself in the garage! Do a good clear out, work on one of your projects or complete the PreWarProject. Following this article in our online magazine, we received a message from Chuck McDonald.
He wrote to us: “The last couple of weeks I have completely organized my garage and it was like finding a bunch of tools that I forgot I had! Yes, I did buy some duplicates because I could not find them in the past, so that is positive in a difficult time “Made lemonade out of Lemons”.
I have been getting quite a few projects out of the way during this Coronavirus crisis. The video is my Model A engine which valves I have adjusted and that is now ready for a future Model A if I find one for sale under 3K, which unfortunately may be very possible based on where our economy is heading!
I have attached pictures of my other vehicles. They show the 37 Packard, I changed her oil and also gave her a tune-up. You also see my 31 Model A, all I did is give her a detail. This coming week I will be organizing all my extra parts for the Model A & Packard. I also am very involved with the local car collectors, have a website that I worked up many years ago which is a great resource for our local community.
I appreciate your newsletters, thank you and wish you and your staff the very best!”
Thank you, Chuck, for your positive and inspiring e-mail! You are doing a great job for the local car community and have a fantastic collection of cars yourself. Thank you very much for your input and keep up the good work!
We would love to hear from more PreWarCar and PostWarClassic enthusiasts what (projects) they are currently working on! Let us take a look in your garage and let other enthusiasts around the world admire your classic car(s)!
