The June solstice is the summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. Today is the longest day of the year. This marks the beginning of astronomical SUMMER. Long and sunny days to enjoy going out in our beloved PreWarCars! Just like these men.
Back in 1922, they loaded a canoe on their truck (we remembered seeing something similar during the Keeneland Concours d ’Elegance last year). Reaching their final destination turned out to be a real adventure (looking at the two other pictures). But they made it to Ootsa Lake in British Columbia!
Where will you drive your PreWarCar this summer? We would love to hear about your (day) trips and other plans.
