Who knows more about this 1904 Clement-Talbot?

If you visited the Retromobile show in Paris last February, you have probably seen this lovely twin cylinder 1904 Clement-Talbot that we had on the PreWarCar.com stand. The owner is a passionate collector and is looking into the history of the car.

He now found a photograph of the Clement-Talbot when it came from the UK (with license number BVH188A) to Belgium / The Netherlands. Is there someone who knows more about its life in the UK? If you have any information, please let us know by commenting below.

I have an old vcc handbook from 2002 which shows one car from 1904 indeed in Belgium.Looking back at old Brighton Run catalogues, in1950 No 148,in 1951 no115,in 1952 no 151a Clement Talbot 2 seater was entered by a W S L Smith. In 1956 what looks to be the same car was entered by a John A G Burchell. Sadly the earlier catalogues do not have car registration numbers listed. Good luck with the cars history.
