The global magazine and marketplace for classic car enthusiasts, by enthusiasts.
Thousands of mysteries and thousands of advertisements ago, PreWarCar.com was born. More precisely, on 3 July 2001. Founder Joris was searching for an Amilcar at the time, but could not find a suitable platform. The car was eventually found, and more importantly, the seed had been planted for a dedicated marketplace and magazine devoted exclusively to pre-Second World War cars and motorcycles.
Today, the website is stronger than ever. With millions of annual visitors, thousands of advertisements and a wealth of stories, we look confidently towards the future. Over the coming months we will celebrate our 25th anniversary in a variety of ways. We hope to meet many of you at events, talk with you during rallies and bring remarkable stories from the past back to life on the website.
We would love to hear which stories have stayed with you over the past 25 years. Perhaps you made lifelong friends through the platform, or even found your dream car. Or maybe a particular story captured your imagination. Please share it with us by email or by leaving a message here, and we will get in touch with you.
We also welcome your suggestions and ideas for improvement. Please let us know how we can do better, so that together we can ensure PreWarCar.com continues full speed ahead for the next 25 years.
Finally, we would like to thank everyone who has contributed to PreWarCar.com over the past 25 years. Thanks to you, we continue to open the website every morning with genuine enthusiasm to discover what is happening within our wonderful hobby.
With motoring regards,
Laurens Klein
