If you appreciate vintage bicycles with honest history, this 1936 Rudge Crescent is a remarkable survivor. Built in Coventry before the war, it features a 24-inch frame with a distinct sloping top tube, giving it a classic, sporty racing geometry that stands out from standard roadsters of the era.

It shows a wonderfully scruffy, honest patina throughout, yet still retains glimpses of its original enamel paint, factory transfers, and gold lining. Best of all, it isn't just a display piece. Fitted with recent new tyres and tubes, this Rudge is fully ridable and ready for vintage cycling events or weekend spins.

Condition and Rideability.

The frame and parts show the scratches, wear, and weathering you would expect from a 90-year-old machine, but it remains structurally sound. The rear mudguard has a dent just above the original rear reflector.
