steering wheel. diam 45cm  nice unrestored condition (not perfect)

Really good early steering wheel. Probably French as it came from there  recently and is of French Walnut I believe.355mm diameter (c.14") on a three spoke aluminium armature with a tapered central hole  30mm -25mm.  Dished 50mm. The walnut was all detached when it arrived and has all been cleaned of old glue and the woodworm annihilated ..

Replica Type 35, 37 etc  Bugatti steering wheel .420mm diameter , rim slightly thinner than usual at 20mm2mm Stainless armature, rim is four layers of holly and pear wood epoxy glued , paler than usual walnut, secret dowelled. Very strong .

Very early, possible Veteran or early Edwardian, four spoke wheel.This came with the rim in derelict condition, full of woodworm and falling apart. It now has a new rim of cherry wood with a 2mm stainless steel ring incorporated in it. It has the original four Brass screw and the original steel spider and now looks fabulous! It is  approx..
