Views: 65,235.  The 1903 S. Smith and Son Strand Motor Timepiece. This is exactly the same type of clock that was originally fitted to the ex-Harmsworth 1903 60hp Mercedes-Simplex. Today? These clocks are just about impossible to find. They are ultra rare.  The rarest and best of all early motor car clocks. 

Phinney - Walker daschbord clock made in Detroit Patent Numbers on the rear starts in 1907 and ends  1916 this is a daschbord mounted clock what is front rim wound up and is set by pulling the rim and turn one time it’s in working Order but I think would need cleaning after 100 years Nickel in nise original con..
