Made by a firm of traction engine builders, the Cooper used a 22hp 4-cylinder piston-valve 2-stroke engine designed and made by the company. The Cooper cars used a 3-speed gearbox and 2-speed rear axle, giving six forward speeds and two reverse. Only six Cooper cars were made, and all were supplied to directors of the company or to their friends. One of these Cooper car, a tourer, survives today.
The original Cooper used a vertical 3-cylinder air-cooled engine of 11hp, but only a prototype was made. Later Coventry-built Cooper cars were conventional light cars using Coventry-Climax engine and a Moss gearbox. They had long, rakish bonnets and German silver radiators. The Cooper company also made the 1½-litre Janvier-engined Warwick racing car, entered for the 1923 Brooklands 200 Miles Race.
