The Crescent firm was said to be building a large factory to carry on the touring car business of the Reliance Motor Car Company, and the runabout business of the Marvel Car Company, but they probably never actually turned out Crescent cars.
The Crescent cyclecar had a more car-like appearance than many of the breed, but used a 7/9hp air-cooled 2-cylinder engine and belt drive. After the move to Birmingham, a change on Crescent cars was made to a water-cooled Blumfield V-twin engine and chain drive.
Two models of the Crescent make were advertised, the Crescent Ohio and the Crescent Royal. The former was a continuation of Ohio and was the smaller of the two, with a 4.4-litre 4-cylinder engine, on a chassis of 9ft 8in wheelbase. This was built as a five-seater. The Crescent Royal model, with a wheelbase of 11ft used a 6-cylinder engine of 7.4-litres. This manufacturer may have moved to St. Louis, Mo. Late in 1914.
