The ReVere car was a short-lived luxury car that was best known in speedster form. In its fiercest guise, the ReVere car was powered by a horizontal-valve 5.9-litre Rochester-Duesenberg racing engine providing 103bhp at 2.600rpm and 85mph. Alternatively, there was a smaller, 81bhp unit on the ReVere car. A 4-speed gearbox was supplied. Formal bodies of the ReVere car, such as that for King Alfonso XIII of Spain, were also worn. As happened so often with cars of this exotic type, the ReVere car lost appeal in its later years. Continental 6-cylinder engines were fitted on ReVere cars in 1924. When balloon tyres arrived the ReVere car was furnished with two superimposed steering wheels, one with a lower ratio for parking.
