The Sultan car company specialized in taxicabs, but also manufactured similar Sultan cars for private use. These Sultan cars had closed four-seater landaulet bodies. Power was supplied by 4-cylinder engines of 2.2-litres and 6-cylinder engines of 3.7-litres. A 3-speed transmission was used on the Sultan car with shaft drive. A predecessor, the Elektron Manufacturing Co of Springfield, Mass., had obtained rights to manufacture the French Sultan car.
