The Sultane car company made solid, conventional touring cars, beginning with a 4-cylinder 10/14hp Sultane car of 2.4-litres. Engine size and number of models Sultane car were gradually increased, and in 1907 ther were five 4-cylinder Sultane cars from a 9/12hp of 1.8-liters to a 45/60hp of 7.8-litres. In this year a 7/9hp 2-cylinder Sultane car was added for the first time. In 1906 a company was formed at Springfield, Mass., to make the car in America, where it was known as the Sultan. It was announced that Sultane cars from 12 to 60hp would be made, and production of the Sultane car lasted until 1910.
