Tribelhorn cars were mainly builders of electric commercial vehicles, but the Tribelhorn car company made a number of private cars, mostly open two- or four-seater victorias. In 1918 they introduced a 3-wheeler Tribelhorn car chassis with single front wheel and two-seater body with batteries under the seat. This Tribelhorn car chassis was widely used by the Swiss Post Office, and demand by them and other commercial customers prevented many private 3-wheeler Tribelhorn cars from being made.
