Live from the 2026 International Autojumble at Beaulieu
While the dew still lies across the rolling fields, the first tents begin to open. Gradually, the smell of diesel engines gives way to that of freshly cooked bacon. This is ‘Beaulieu’ as we know it.
This morning, Saturday, the gates opened to visitors. Many stands, however, had already been set up on Friday morning, making this traditionally the moment when the first bargains are unearthed. We too have already bought several things we did not know we needed beforehand, but which instantly convinced us the moment we saw them. Whether we shall still feel the same way once we are back home on Monday remains to be seen…
On our own stand, the Poncin VP2000 has been attracting plenty of attention from the outset. With both propellers proudly raised, that is hardly surprising. We hope to give a demonstration on the water later this weekend, although we do not yet know whether that will actually be possible.
We also have a pair of motorised tricycles: one for her and one for him. Well, there is still some work to do before the man can drive it but if you are not able to dream... autojumbles might not be the right place for you.
We hope to welcome you to the International Autojumble this weekend. The event runs until Sunday, 13 September. Admission costs just £15 and also includes entry to the National Motor Museum and Little Beaulieu.

It’s a shame – it was a brilliant event, but just look at the photos and you’ll see the event is coming to an end; the range on offer is less than 50 per cent of what it once was, with no (or almost no) European exhibitors. Brexit was a good choice!! (Or wasn’t it?). And an organisation that has absolutely no interest in what the fair stands for (or should stand for). Now, if the museum’s visitor numbers halve, or fall even further, that’ll be the end of the Beaulieu Autojumble.

Brexit was en goede keuze!!(of niet). En een origanisatie die geen enkele interesse heeft voor voor waar de beurs voor staat(of zou moeten staan). Nu museum nog halveren, of minder en einde Beaulieu Autojumble.

Kees hat recht der Beaulieu Auto Jumble nähert sich dem Ende. Nach einige Jahren Pause war ich letztes Jahr wieder dort und war enttäuscht. Noch gefühlt die Hälfte an Ständen und mehr Jumble als Autojumble, dank Internet und Brexit. Wenn man die Atmosphäre und den Geruch von gebratenem Speck früherer Jahre in Erinnerung hat, ist dies eine traurige Entwicklung.
