Don't say we never told you about tonight's Halloween dinner & dance party in a pre-war garage at the corner of Christopher street and 7th Avenue in Greenwich Village, NY. We don't expect you to go, basically just wanted to draw your attention to the every day diminishing number of old garage buildings. Anybody who can tell/show more about this garage when still in use to fettle cars?

Last minute added  trivial knowledge:  an ex-garage restaurant similar to the above is located in Amsterdam. The owner of Le Garage - Joop Braakhekke - says the connection of garage & restaurant is obvious: "A good restaurant is a location where people are being restored. Coming out from the daily drag of life they should leave refreshed and restored "
