Guess the distributor...

I have just acquired two quality distributors and have no idea what cars they would fit.  Wondered if any readers in the prewar world can help.  Smaller one is a Bosch product part number VA6BS30.It is for a 6 cylinder car and has twin sets of contact breaker points both operating at the same time.  Has a 6 lobe cam.  The other is a DELCO  CONTISOUZA  PARIS product.  It has an 8 lobe cam, single set of points.  The distributor cap is for a 4 cylinder model so am assuming it is not correct for this distributor, however it fits perfectly.  Any help would be appreciated.

The Bosch VA6BS30 is correct for a 1928 Alfa Romeo 6C1500 single cam.

Thank you for your identification of my Bosch distributor on PreWarCar. It's Mark and Audrey Miller here, friends of Tony Clarke, if you remember you made a beautiful pair of wind deflectors for my Type 43 some time ago. I can't find your e-mail address so hope you read this reply. I have a set of brake shoes that came from the same source that may be Alfa, if you get in touch I will send some photos. All the best to you and Julie.
Regards,
Mark and Audrey

The Continsouza distributor is for a Bugatti Type 30, flange-mounted to the firewall. The cap is, as you say, not correct. The original cap was shared only by some rare cars (the Lafayette V8 and some Duesenberg racing cars) but replacements that will fit exist.
I know of a Type 30 that would need it if you would part with it.
