International Autojumble 2022, what to look out for
With just over a week to go, many of us will be rifling through our belongings looking for parts to take to the International Autojumble in Beaulieu. The small picturesque town in the New Forest area in the south of England will again be the Valhalla for us, the car enthusiasts with more stuff than money and more projects than space but who still want to buy a new dream project.
The PreWarCar.com team will be there again with a number of interesting cars. There will be 'our' rusty beast, the mysterious car that we brought to your attention
some time ago. Now driving, steering and braking as it should be.
Something completely different will be a shiny special based on a Lancia Ardea, made by YouTube specialist Gasolini. It was designed and built from scratch on a budget using budget tools. The car will be exhibited at the show and Gasolini will be there to proudly tell you all about it.
For those who visited us last years, our stand is in a different location. We are now at Greenfield stands G338 and G339 (close to the Food Court). Even at this location we still feel like talking about cars, motorbikes and rusty parts so feel free to drop by for a drink and a chat!
Golden anniversary
It will be a special edition of the event as the National Motor Museum, which will be open to the public as usual, celebrates it golden anniversary.
Auction house Bonhams will be holding their well-attended auction with a wide variety of PreWarCars, from dusty and rusty projects to shiny cars from the Brass Age.
And the most important thing to look forward to is the people: the enthusiasts who would rather walk across a field among old junk than through an Ikea.
We look forward to meeting you there.

Take cash! There are professional sellers there who will take credit cards, but cash is king at Beaulieu and private sellers who are clearing their garage will not accept card payments. Some may accept Euros, it's always worth asking. There is a cash machine on site.
There are numerous food and drink places, but they can be rather expensive and not all that good, so you may prefer to take you own.
Comfortable shoes and waterproof clothing are essential - this is England and the weather can change. The forecast for this year is OK, but...
Have fun!
