On Wednesday 8 July, the annual Concours of the Royal Automobile Club will once again take place at the Woodcote Park estate in Surrey. This year, too, users of PreWarCar.com are warmly invited to attend the event.
The event offers a varied selection of exceptional vehicles across a wide range of categories. In addition to pre-war masterpieces, there will be classes for shooting brakes, 1950s sports and racing cars, cars with distinctive aerodynamic rear fins, and models powered by V12 engines. There will also be special attention for participants in the legendary Targa Florio, as well as a selection of remarkable motorcycles.
Spread across the 350-acre estate, several themed displays will be presented. This year includes a celebration of the centenary of the British Grand Prix at Brooklands, a tribute to the life of Sir Henry Segrave, anniversaries of various manufacturers, and the elegance of the Edwardian coachbuilding era.
In addition to the vehicles on display, there will be ample opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts, attend lectures and interviews, and enjoy the surroundings in a relaxed atmosphere.
Visitors last year were highly positive about the concept and presentation of the event, the venue, and the overall atmosphere. We can therefore wholeheartedly recommend a visit.
