After offering to help identify historic vehicles last week, we received this amazing photo. A woman in a thick fur coat behind the wheel of a large and impressive car. Jon, who sent in the photo, wrote that the car belonged to his great-uncle.
He also told us that a few years ago, he had tried to find out what kind of car we are looking at here. There were several suggestions forthcoming that it was a Mercedes. But is it really? Jon is not totally convinced. And that’s why he notes “it deserves wider circulation in order that readers of PreWarCar.com can have a go!”.
So guys, can anyone confirm that this is indeed a Mercedes? Or tell us what you think this woman is driving. And maybe give us some more information about the car.
