For more than forty years, Auto e Moto d’Epoca has brought together the cars, motorcycles and people that keep motoring history alive. Now firmly established at BolognaFiere, the show continues to develop into one of Europe’s leading international meeting places for collectors, dealers, restorers and enthusiasts.

The move to Bologna in 2023 marked the beginning of an ambitious new chapter. The spacious and internationally accessible BolognaFiere exhibition centre has enabled the organisers to expand the event, welcome a broader European audience and present motoring history in all its variety. The objective is clear: not merely to look back, but to safeguard this heritage, share the knowledge surrounding it and inspire a new generation of enthusiasts.

More room for the pioneers

At the heart of that history are the automobiles built before the Second World War. These are the machines that established the principles of motoring, introduced countless technical innovations and created the foundations upon which the modern motor car was built. From early voiturettes and Edwardian tourers to sporting thoroughbreds and imposing luxury cars, the pre-war era offers an extraordinary breadth of engineering, coachbuilding and human stories.

Auto e Moto d’Epoca now wishes to give these pioneering automobiles greater prominence. For the 2026 edition, a dedicated stand featuring exclusively pre-war cars will therefore be created in collaboration with PreWarCar.com. It will provide a distinctive showcase for important, interesting and unusual motor cars dating from motoring’s earliest years through to 1940.

Present your pre-war car in Bologna

Owners and dealers are invited to present a suitable pre-war car on this special stand. Whether it is a rare veteran, an elegant touring car, a sporting machine or an appealing restoration project, the display offers an opportunity to place it before an international audience of knowledgeable collectors and enthusiasts.

Cars may be offered for sale through PreWarCar.com while being displayed at the show, combining the reach of the world’s leading online marketplace for pre-war automobiles with the atmosphere and personal contact of one of Europe’s foremost classic motoring events.
