Release of the new search and select system

Just like our beloved cars, a website that is used a lot needs maintenance and improvements to keep it running.

PreWarCar.com and sister website PostWarClassic.com have grown over the years and are constantly developing. In the process, many (small) changes have been made. Some you may have noticed and others probably not directly. Today, however, we are happy to announce the release of the latest update. The 'Make a choice' system, or better still, the 'Search and select' system on the left side of the websites.

This update will make it easier for you, the user, to find the right cars, bikes and parts. In addition, it will help with one of our next steps — a better mobile website.

We invite you to try it out and let us know what you think. An improvement or not?

I would rather see the auction parts in a separate category. Again, there is never a real price quote and it is frustrating to scroll page after page to skip it.

ik zou liever de veilings onderdelen in een aparte categorie zien. Ook hier is nooit een echte prijsopgave en het is frustrerend om pagina na pagina te scrollen om deze over te slaan.

When I touch each category up top, like "barnfinds", the top of the page that comes up is a search section. Why cant that still be at the left. It is extremely frustrating to have to scroll thru the same search page every single category! I only want to see what is new in each category today. I would go to search if I wanted to find something in particular.

In the US when I was a kid, "OK Used Cars" was the used car department at the local Chevrolet dealer. "A1" was the same at the Ford dealer.

Hello hard working editors,

Someone has slipped up somewhere along the line. I just placed three free ads ( thanks in advance ) at PostWar but could not fill in my category of Chevrolet because that is gone. Also the alfabetical choice of category or make is all over the place , nothing follows up .
Same at PWC, i just tried to make a ad for C.M.HALL cowl lights but the C.M. HALL in the manufacturers list is gone. The list is also all over the place and no longer alfabetical. I feel a headache coming up. So to finish my ads i had to chose "a variety of manufacturers " and "a variety of cars "

On my phone, at least, I can’t seem to get the new category function to serve up the same thing twice in a row.
Very frustrating…..
