This Sunday it’s time again for the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run — the world’s oldest motoring event still in existence, organised by the Royal Automobile Club.
Our PreWarCar.com team is taking part once more — this time with our remarkable 1900 Clement-Panhard, better known as the Stirling-Panhard (V46). This car made history by winning the very first commemoration run back in 1927.
Almost a century later, we’re taking on the challenge again — not to finish first, but simply to make it to Brighton! And that’s going to be quite the adventure...
Starting from Hyde Park — moved this year to South Carriage Drive for more space and better lighting — we’ll be streaming our journey live (as long as the connection allows). You can find the livestream link below.
The 2025 theme is “The 1000 Miles Trial” — a tribute to the pioneers who once pushed the limits of early motoring. More information can be found here.
With more than 400 participants, including over 20 first-timers and more than 25 Americans, it promises to be another fantastic international spectacle. From a 1898 Mors V4 to a 1904 Opel making its debut — the variety is incredible! The full entry list can be found here.
Another wonderfully diverse line-up — we can’t wait!
See you Sunday — on the road to Brighton!
