Press release
The Michael Sedgwick Memorial Trust has arranged ‘Meet our Authors’, an informal gathering of writers and publishers at the Hagerty Clubhouse, Bicester Motion, on Saturday 21 March.
A rare opportunity for aspiring authors and anyone interested in motoring history to learn from established authors how they go about producing a book and the highs and lows of getting it printed and on to the bookshelves.
Speakers will include a number of authors whose work has been supported by the Trust: De Dion specialist Michael Edwards; David Knowles, biographer of Syd Enever of MG; Jaguar expert Paul Skilleter; and prolific motor sport author Ian Wagstaff. Several other published authors will also be there, as well as Michael Sedgwick Trustees, who are all experienced authors and publishers.
A relaxed Saturday afternoon with no long lectures – just lively discussion and a chance to mingle with publishing professionals and motoring historians. The venue is the comfortable Hagerty Clubhouse at Bicester Motion, the epicentre of the classic and historic car world.
We hope to see you there!
