Pall Mall and classic automobiles: a combination that couldn’t have been more perfect. On this iconic London street, home to the prestigious Royal Automobile Club, the morning was all about celebrating the rich history and future of the motorcar.
Thanks to the organisation of the Club, the street was filled with a colourful collection of historic and exceptional vehicles. The free-to-attend event offered a journey through time – from the past, through the present, and into the future of mobility.
A highlight of the day was the display of 75 Veteran Cars, participants in the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run taking place tomorrow. In addition, 75 years of Formula 1 were celebrated – a fitting tribute to the very first Grand Prix in 1950, organised by none other than the Royal Automobile Club itself.
The future also took the spotlight: the ever-enthusiastic Brooks family gave a lively explanation to the next generation of car enthusiasts – bravo! Meanwhile, experts shared their knowledge and craftsmen demonstrated their remarkable skills.
Our own Morris Laarman was there to capture the spirit of the day in pictures.
