Veteran Experience Day 2026 - RVCCB

The Belgian Royal Veteran Car Club of Belgium has informed us about an event they are organizing to promote the pleasure of club membership, conviviality and the use of vintage automobiles. They write:

Open doors, open bonnets, hand-cranking and enjoyable drives are the ingredients to discover automobiles from the earliest years up to 1939. Come and experience the simple and relaxed atmosphere of our club.

On Sunday 22 March 2026, Château d’Ollignies – and more specifically the Orangerie – will be the place to be for pre-war automobiles, also for vehicles owned by non-members of the RVCCB.

The eight loops to choose from (6 km, 13 km, 25 km, 30 km, 34 km, 44 km (x2) and 47 km) allow you to test a recently acquired car or motorcycle, fine-tune it for the upcoming season, let your children take the wheel, or simply enjoy a day of pre-war motoring with (new) friends.

We start from 9 a.m. at the Orangerie (Chaussée Victor Lampe 50, 7866 Ollignies), but you are free to arrive whenever it suits you and drive one or more loops as you wish. The routes follow quiet and pleasant roads.

Please register before 12 March 2026 via our website www.rvccb.be. With your registration you will receive a rally plate and the roadbooks for the different loops. If desired, you can also order breakfast and/or lunch.

‘Young drivers’ – those under the age of 40 who complete at least one full loop with a pre-war vehicle – will also receive a complimentary RVCCB membership worth €30 valid until the end of 2026.
