Vintage Revival Montlhéry is just a couple of days away

In just a few days it will be time for one of the best events of the year: Vintage Revival Montlhéry. Most car people will have heard of it and hopefully many will come to participate or just to visit and have a good time. With a wonderful weekend ahead, we would like to give you some extra information to make sure you have a good weekend.

Location

Autodrome de Linas-Montlhéry is a historical race track, just south of Paris, that breathes vintage racing. The circuit was opened in 1924 and was the place where some French Grand Prix races took place in pre-war days. Nowadays, the original banks are mostly gone and the concrete is not like a modern track but the good thing is that it is still possible to do a full lap, overtake and for some cars to get high up the banking.

The racetrack is 3,405 km. A map can be found here.

The address is: Av. Georges Boillot, 91310 Linas, France. Entrance for participants is Gate D and for visitors Gate F.

Timetable

On Saturday, the drivers briefing is at 08:30 and the first track session starts at 09:00. There are sessions throughout the day for cars and bikes and during lunch (12:55) there is a bicycle demonstration run. The day ends on the track at 18:10 and the gates close at 19:30.

Sunday is similar to the first day plus the award ceremony at 13:30 in front of the PreWarCar.com stand. At 18:10, the runs are over and there will be a final parade with participants who don’t have a sporty car but do have a PreWarCar on the parking. After this, the event ends (unfortunately).

Besides the atmosphere, it is all about the participating cars and bikes. A mouth-watering field of PreWarCars.
