MG TB Tickford

This MG TB is a rare Tickford variant. A total of 379 TBs were built, of which, according to the production records, only 48 were fitted with Tickford coachwork. It is believed that approximately 30 examples still survive worldwide. This particular car, bearing body number 0403, was one of the last to be completed, on 20 June 1939. It was fitted with engine XPAG 667, which remains in the car today, making it a matching-numbers example.

This wonderful example was purchased in dismantled condition by our father in the early 2000s and subsequently underwent a comprehensive restoration, carried out with great care and attention to detail.
