A 1920 Vulcan 16hp tourer.
Grey
Founded in the late 1800’s, Vulcan had grown into one of the largest makers of cars and commercial vehicles in the North-West of England. Commercials continued to be produced until the 1950’s, eventually being absorbed into the Rootes Group.
This vehicle is believed to be an amalgamation of a commercial chassis with a touring body. Rebodied during its long-term previous ownership, and fitted with its original Dorman engine of 2613cc mated to a four-speed gearbox, the Vulcan is an imposing and rare vehicle and, unusually, retains its original radiator mascot. An extensive history file comes with the vehicle.
