This is not a Smith Flyer but rather an authentic homemade go kart that was built with antique 1900s components consisting of the wood and steel sled, to the running 1935 Johnson Iron Horse engine. Some steel parts were handmade specifically for this kart. It resembles an early buckboard flyer or similar style vehicle.
This does run and drive under its own power utilizing a friction belt clutch, however, it is highly recommended to be used as a collectors item or art piece as the wooden spoke wheels may not hold up if driven. With that being said, it has been tested to support up to a 100 pound load static. I have videos of it running if asked.
It measures 56" long x 26" x 26". Since this was homemade, the ID tag reads "Motor Buggy No. 001". It will be provided with a bill of sale as-is.
